Renee Robbins is a Chicago, Illinois (USA) based painter, who grew up in various cities around the Midwest. She studied at the University of Kentucky, followed by Michigan State University (painting and printmaking). She has been honored by several awards and participated in lots of national exhibitions.
Renee uses vivid colors, rhythmic lines, and meticulous textures to create her acrylic and mixed media paintings and prints. She integrates different materials such as string, paper, sand, fabric, and lace with the paint to create focal points.
