Works in Progress: Animations by Ravenskar

Despite some untutored, laid back drawing classes in 2009, Viet-My Bui has had no formal training in art and design. In the last year of high school, she knew that she wanted to do this for a living but she went to law school because of her parents. It wasn’t until the end of 2008 that Viet-My started to take artwork more seriously and began making an effort to improve her drawing. Since then, she has researched anatomy, experimented with speedpainting and started to understand lights and colors. Her approach to each piece is still extremely intuitive and she greatly relies on her natural talent to wing it. Let’s see how she does that!
